FEMEN Against the Return of Nazism: Protest at the German Embassy in Kyiv

KYIV, February 23, 2025 – FEMEN activists staged a protest outside the German Embassy in Kyiv,

speaking out against the rise of far-right sentiments in Europe and the potential victory of the “Alternative for Germany” (AfD) party.

During the demonstration, the activists, as per FEMEN’s tradition, stripped to expose slogans painted on their bodies: “Weidel Putin Slut,” “Heil Weidel,” and “No Nazis in Germany.” They declared that AfD is not just an ultra-right political force but a direct threat to democracy, aiming to turn Germany into a racist dictatorship.

“Tolerating far-right scum is the path to the revival of Nazism. If people don’t wake up now, tomorrow the swastika will become their flag, and the day after, it will be a weapon against anyone who thinks differently,” the activists stated.

They also emphasized that AfD is a Kremlin project designed to undermine European unity and German democracy.

“Political prostitutes selling Germany for Russian money are leading the country to disaster. Standing against them is the duty of everyone who does not want Europe to fall,” FEMEN declared.

The protest attracted public attention, drawing journalists and passersby to the scene outside the embassy.

FEMEN calls on German society to prevent history from repeating itself and to resist attempts to bring back totalitarianism in Europe.
