FEMEN Against Nazism: Protest at the Bundestag in Berlin

BERLIN, February 22, 2025 – FEMEN staged a powerful protest outside the Bundestag, opposing the potential rise to power of the far-right “Alternative for Germany” (AfD) party.

The activists, following FEMEN’s signature style, stripped down, displaying slogans on their bodies:

  • “Weidel Putin Slut”
  • “Heil Weidel”
  • “No Nazis in Germany”

FEMEN declared that AfD is a direct threat to democracy and freedom in Europe. Far-right forces are exploiting public fears to push Germany toward authoritarianism and racism.

“We remind you: Nazism does not start with concentration camps – it starts with tolerating radicals. If we don’t resist them today, they will be in power tomorrow,” the activists stated.

They also emphasized that AfD is a Kremlin tool, used to destabilize Europe and undermine Germany’s democratic values.

The demonstration drew the attention of hundreds of journalists and passersby. FEMEN calls on Germans not to stay silent and to resist the far-right threat before it’s too late.
